Panjakent → Dushanbe

The price is fixed and agreed before you travel: it is for the whole vehicle, not per person.

From Panjakent, just over the border from Samarkand, to the capital of Tajikistan. The road follows the Zarafshan valley, then climbs to the Anzob tunnel at about 2,700 m and drops down the Varzob gorge into Dushanbe. It takes 4–6 hours with a lunch stop.

Coming from Samarkand? Our Samarkand → Panjakent border transfer brings you to the Uzbek side of the crossing, and your driver for Dushanbe can wait for you on the Tajik side.

The driver can stop at the ruins of ancient Panjakent before you leave. A detour to Iskanderkul lake adds about two hours: ask us for a quote.
