The price is fixed and agreed before you travel: it is for the whole vehicle, not per person.
Most flights to Khiva land at Urgench, about 35 km away. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name and takes you straight to your hotel in Khiva, inside or outside the old town walls. The drive takes 30–40 minutes on a flat, good road.
Give us your flight number when you book: we watch for delays, so a late landing costs you nothing extra. Arriving by train at Urgench station instead? Write that in the pick-up address and the price stays the same.
Cars cannot drive into Ichan Kala, the walled old town. If your hotel is inside the walls, the driver stops at the nearest gate and helps you with your bags to the door.
What the price includes
Air-conditioned cars with English or Russian speaking drivers. Prices are for the whole vehicle, not per person, and include fuel, tolls and waiting time.
