Khorog → Dushanbe

The price is fixed and agreed before you travel: it is for the whole vehicle, not per person.

From the Pamirs back to the capital: about 550 km along the Panj river, with Afghanistan on the far bank, and through Kalaikhumb and Kulob to Dushanbe. The drive takes 12–16 hours and is made in a 4×4.

We leave Khorog early, around 06:00, with stops for meals and photographs. If you would rather not do it in one day, ask us about a night in Kalaikhumb.

Carry your passport and your GBAO permit: there are checkpoints on the road. The car can take you straight to Dushanbe airport if you are flying out.

What the price includes

Air-conditioned cars with English or Russian speaking drivers. Prices are for the whole vehicle, not per person, and include fuel, tolls and waiting time.
