The price is fixed and agreed before you travel: it is for the whole vehicle, not per person.
Your driver collects you from your hotel in Khiva, at the nearest gate if you are staying inside Ichan Kala, and drives you across the Kyzylkum desert to Bukhara in 5–6 hours.
There are only a few cafés along the road, so take water and snacks. The driver will stop wherever you like for photographs of the desert and the Amu Darya.
In Bukhara the driver takes you as close as a car can get to your hotel and helps you with your bags to the door.
What the price includes
Air-conditioned cars with English or Russian speaking drivers. Prices are for the whole vehicle, not per person, and include fuel, tolls and waiting time.
