Tashkent → Zhibek Zholy border

The price is fixed and agreed before you travel: it is for the whole vehicle, not per person.

Zhibek Zholy (Gishtkuprik on the Uzbek side) is the main road crossing between Tashkent and Kazakhstan, for Shymkent, Turkistan and Almaty. It is about 30–40 minutes from central Tashkent. Your driver collects you from your hotel and drops you at the border post.

The crossing is on foot, with your bags, and can be busy in the mornings and before holidays. On the Kazakh side, taxis and buses leave for Shymkent, about two hours away.

Coming the other way? Book Zhibek Zholy border → Tashkent instead, and your driver will be waiting when you come out on the Uzbek side.

What the price includes
